THE DANCE PRODUCING SOCIETY

In 2003, the Dance Production Research Club was established by a group of dedicated students from the Japan Women’s College of Physical Education, majoring in dance.

The Dance Production Research Club is driven by a commitment and passion to lead the next generation of contemporary dance. The club explores new movements and trends in dance, not only focusing on choreography but also planning and producing regular performances.

Furthermore, the club participates in workshops conducted by instructors from both Japan and abroad, learns stage techniques such as lighting and sound, collaborates with other universities, and engages in community dance projects that serve as models for regional exchange. Through these efforts, the club aims to expand and deeply explore the potential of dance.
